Meet Becky!

Hi! I am Becky Bernard and I was born and raised in Linton.  As strange as it may sound, I truly love Linton and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.  I graduated from ISU in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health education. Although I went to college to be a teacher, I never taught other than the 2 years I taught Drivers Education for ISU. It was interesting but teaching just wasn't for me. I ended up going into social work and have been a case manager for Hamilton Center since 2007.    

​In 2010, I married my husband Tim.  He is the most wonderful and supportive husband a girl could have and I would be lost without him.  Plus, he loves to cook and is amazing at it!  Win for me!  Although he has always been my tech support, in 2017 he came on board and now does a good portion of the editing.     

In December of 2010, he gave me the greatest gift of my life, a baby boy we named Davis.  Davis was truly my inspiration for getting into photography.  After Davis was born, I became obsessed with getting professional photos of him.  He had newborn pics, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, 1 year pics, Christmas, Easter, Father’s Day… You get the picture.  I was spending thousands on photography and it was driving my husband insane.  Tim ended up buying me my first DSLR so I could take my own pics and I became hooked. Well, it was more like obsessed. For a good 2 years, I spent every free moment reading, studying, researching, and practicing shooting. I truly lived, slept, and breathed photography.  

Photography is my passion and something I do because I love it.  Who wouldn’t love getting to spend time with amazing people and taking gorgeous photos!
